A Claudia Schiffer lookalike has won a prestige model competition which could propel her to international stardom. Student Ella Wahlsten, who bears a remarkable resemblance to the German supermodel, won the coveted Face Of Brighton Competition 2009 at the cities Churchill Square shopping centre on Saturday.

Crowds cheered as she picked up the crown, while the mens title was scooped Alex Smith. Now they will be the focus of a professional photo shoot with top model agency Storm.

Teen wannabe models, picked from hundreds of entries, took to the stage for the contest as crowds gathered to watch.
